What Remains of Edith Finchthe upcoming first person adventure narrative game, let’s players explore the lives and untimely deaths of the members of a deeply troubled family. I don’t want to spoil it, so I can’t say to much but I will say that the demo I played gives me hope that the game will push interactive storytelling to new depths and directions.

At PAX East, I chatted with the game’s creative director, Ian Dallas who was the lead designer on The Unfinished Swan. Ian shares his hopes for the game and talks the opportunity games offer us to look at the world in a different way and consider our own humanity.
