This week Drew and M. Joshua chat with Ian Dallas, the creative director of Giant Sparrow, makers of The Unfinished Swan and What Remains of Edith Finch which releases today. We discussed Ian’s upbringing, the difficulties inherent to making games about wonder, and the unsettling nature of making art about death. We discussed why its difficult for Americans to talk about death and why its important for us to wrestle with the unknown.
