Drew and M. Joshua are back this week to talk with developer Marc Flury and cultural perspective on this episode of the GameChurch podcast. Marc Flury is the lead programmer on Thumper, a rhythm game that is very hard to put into a neat little category but is best described possibly as “rhythm violence.” Featuring rather dark imagery, Drew and M. Josh question Marc on the influences of the game and how is own youth in Minnesota and now current country of residence, South Korea, may have helped shaped the development of Thumper.
